Integrating with Slack: A Step-by-Step Guide

Connect Our Platform with Slack

Our Slack integration allows you to receive project notifications, create tasks, and get updates directly within your Slack workspace. Here's how to set it up.

Installation

1. Go to Settings > Integrations.
2. Find Slack in the list and click 'Connect'.
3. You will be redirected to Slack to authorize the connection. You may need to be a Slack administrator to approve the app.
4. Choose the default channel where you want notifications to be posted.

Using the Integration

Once connected, you can use slash commands in Slack:

• /createtask [task name] in [project name] - Creates a new task.
• /getupdates [project name] - Fetches the latest activity from a project.

Configuring Notifications

You can customize which notifications are sent to Slack. In your project settings, under the 'Notifications' tab, you can select specific event types (e.g., 'Task Completed', 'New Comment') to be pushed to your connected channel.
