Feature Request: 'Internal Note' Template Library
FeaturedOur agents frequently need to leave internal notes on tickets to provide context for other team members, especially when escalating an issue. We often use the same formats, such as 'Escalation Summary' or 'Customer Call Log.' It would be a huge time-saver if we could create and save a library of templates for these internal notes, similar to how we have macro templates for public replies. An agent could simply select 'Escalation Template' from a dropdown, and it would populate the internal note with predefined headings like 'Summary of Issue,' 'Steps Taken,' and 'Next Steps.' This would enforce consistency in our internal communications, reduce the time agents spend on administrative tasks, and ensure that escalations are handled more efficiently. It's a small change that would have a big impact on our workflow.
