Idea: Allow for conditional fields in ticket forms
Pinned FeaturedIt would be a huge improvement to our workflow if we could create conditional fields in our ticket forms. For example, if a customer selects 'Bug Report' from a dropdown menu, we'd like to show them a specific set of fields, such as 'Steps to Reproduce' and 'Expected Behavior'. If they select 'Feature Request', we'd like to show them a different set of fields, such as 'Problem to Solve' and 'Proposed Solution'. This would allow us to collect more relevant information upfront and would reduce the need for back-and-forth communication with the customer. The current forms are static, which means we have to either include all possible fields, which can be overwhelming for the customer, or we have to ask for the information in a follow-up message. Conditional logic would make our forms much more dynamic and user-friendly.
