How-To Question: Is it Possible to Merge Two User Accounts?
Pinned FeaturedWe have a situation where a customer has accidentally created two separate user accounts with different email addresses. Is there a way to merge these two accounts into one, while preserving all of their ticket history? We've looked at the user management settings, but we can't seem to find an option to do this. We'd like to avoid having to manually reassign all of their tickets to one of the accounts, as this would be a time-consuming and error-prone process. Any advice or guidance on how to handle this situation would be greatly appreciated. We want to provide a seamless experience for our customers, and this is a recurring issue that we need to address.
